The Waterways of Strasbourg

This is Le Grande Ecluse, this dam was built in the 17th century
on the river Ill, which runs through the city.
Note the roof of this old building, it is completely covered
with grass. This entire building is deserted and looks very
overpowering and eerie. If these walls could speak, I wonder
what tales would it tell.
Here the tourist boat makes a turn
and passes through the lock.
